Forsyth Barr Winter Series - Race 8 - Club Nationals Circuit - Moutere Hills

Saturday 8.8.09, Moutere Circuit

A perfect day for racing, cloudless skies, calm warm conditions, and a backdrop of the snow covered western ranges greeted 140 plus riders, out on the circuit that will be used for the NZ Club Nationals 21-24 October 09.

Old Coach Road

Old Coach Road is the steepest climb on the circuit but is short enough to be considered a "power climb".

1st Woman Tracy Clark makes a short speech to the other racers and their supporters enjoying 'afters' at the Moutere Tavern. The races were well attended by riders from outside the Nelson / Richmond area.
